I was lucky enough to model for a finals project put together by a lovely MUA studying here. The facility contained several classrooms and a few delightful studio spaces where we were able to capture our images after prep. I can personally attest to the cleanliness and organization of the venue, and was quite impressed with not only the various looks I was asked to model, but also sat in awe of other’s looks. This leads me to believe excellent instuction is taking place at this school! I would definitely recommend this as a learning institution- I felt 100% at ease with Lia working on my face and know others graduating from here will have the same caliber of work!

I recently just took my finals from Michael Vincent Academy and I couldnt be happier that I attended this school!! My class was for 12 weeks and in that amount of time I know for a fact Ive become a professional makeup artist! Im always getting compliments on my makeup, followers, Ive already begun getting offers for professional jobs on set, I got my first paid gig before I even graduated!! Not only did I learn so much from my instructor but my classmates and all the different techniques we all have helped me learn so much as well. Before I began this career I was honestly in the worst depression of my life, I had no motivation or inspiration. I barely even had any friends or money! I attended this school on the most affordable plan, they are soooo understanding with my situation and never harass me when I am short on payments. All I knew when I signed up was I love makeup, I wanted another career and just to try something new. Ive made so many new friends here, found my passion and reason to want to push forward again and Ive found a new career Im good and passionate about! I am a proud teamMVA student. I have done a couple of courses offered here and currently in their affiliate program. This academy is a blessing for people who want to learn the dynamics and art of makeup and how to work on set.A variety of subjects and fields being taught by the people who have experience of decades in the industry . The teachers and administrators are super cooperative. The studio space is amazing and so apt for portfolio building . Not only you get to use it as students but the photographers are none other than celebrity photographers.

In their affiliate program they place you on set to gather experience. Because of this academy I have got to work on soo many sets of big celebrities like Ozuna, Pdiddy, dj Snake, Jon Bon Jovi, Gunna, Jhene aiko, Tommy lee, Korean band BTS….. and many many more. Michael Vincent Academy is so much more than just a school. I’ve completed four classes (beauty, hair, business and affiliate) with one more that starts in April (digital makeup). I didn’t only gain in knowledge, experience and portfolio work, I feel like I gained a whole family! Tal, Michael, Mo, Robert and the rest of the team are so passionate and supportive in helping their students build professional portfolio work which is key in landing jobs in the industry. In addition to education, the constantly flowing and inspiration is around every corner.

The affiliate program was definitely a huge part of my experience and resume. You learn set etiquette and get to work with industry professionals along with talent. Quite possibly my favorite program there. Without MVA I wouldn’t have made the relationships and connections I made today which I am so grateful for. I am a student here and I just graduated from the beauty artistry class. When I started I just had a basic knowledge of makeup and now that I’ve finished I feel that anything that’s thrown my way is possible. My instructors were Nikki and Emily and they did such a good job explaining in detail everything. They taught not just makeup but industry secrets and marketing. Not just your own instructors take care of you. Other instructors take good care of you and the staff too! Mo and Alec are always there for any questions or needs. They are there to help with anything and with all their power try to raise you up. The location is very desirable too. They have their own studio at the school where you are able to practice and even use. If you want to use the studio to shoot or want to bring a client there the doors are always open. Not just to current enroll students but to former ones too. MVA is there throughout your whole journey. Choose Michael Vincent Academy. You’ll never regret it.

The Michael Vincent Academy has been nothing less than amazing! Everyone that you meet here wants to see you succeed and wants to help you achieve the skills in whatever passion you have. There are classes on becoming a makeup artist, hair stylist/barber, photo editor, working on set, etc. The school has a studio for you to practice and shoot your work whenever you want! Everyone there is building there portfolio and it kinda cool how many resources you have to help you showcase your work. I took the Beauty Artistry class and I am now a certified makeup artist! Came here took the class loved it , then took the affiliate program which is wonderful because you get to work on set. The course I chose was only 12 weeks and just in that short amount of time I learned more than I could of ever imagined. I took an advanced course with Micheal Vincent Academy . I had so much fun . I loved the enthusiasm of Tal and Alex . Mo was more than helpful when he enrolled me . So let me tell you what I loved most about the course , if you do beauty makeup all the time and never get a chance to push yourself artistically this is the class for you ….. you will learn avant Garde Makeup, Drag Make Up, Graphic Liner, Splatter Makeup, Cut Crease, Lip Art, Lighting on Set, How photoshoots work, And much much more ………. Only thing I wished was that they had a scholarship program or grants to help with the cost of tuition …..Being a mother of 2 boys , it gets tough from time to time ….. however they do offer payment plans which helped me out a lot !!!!!! Oh and did I mention having access to their studio as long as you are a student

I’m already a certified makeup artist and I went searching to find a school to help me with hair design. I searched online and was impressed to find MVA not only offered hair design courses but Digital Makeup/Photoshop as well. I enrolled into both and now not only am I capable of doing on-set editorial makeup, I am now able to style hair, shoot with a camera, and retouch all my photos! I love all the entire staff. Mo & Alex have been completely instrumental in my growth as a makeup artist, entirely. So thank you so much MVA! I dont even know where to begin! This school has saved my life. I drove all the way from Arizona for the hyper course and it was worth it. I’ve done extensive research and visited several other makeup schools before selecting MVA. I’ve been in the cosmetics industry for several years before, and was looking for an institution to brush up on my artistry skills that would work with my availability and not break the bank. From the moment I walked into the school, I was extremely impressed with the faculty. I learned a lot just in the initial tour of the school where Admissions (thanks Aleks!) had walked me through set and discussed lighting techniques, camera angles, and set etiquette – just to name a few, things that haven’t even crossed my mind. After the initial tour, I found myself beyond excited and extremely motivated on the next steps and I knew I wanted to be a part of team MVA. The classes have been nothing short of amazing, not only do the instructors take you thoroughly through the program, but they also offer tips and recommendations on industry standards/expectations, how to properly market yourself and make yourself/your skills indispensable in a competitive industry. Most of all, you feel a sense of community among other classmates and the school faculty. Speaking of the faculty, they are very responsive. Not only do you get responses/answers to your questions immediately (thanks Mo!), but they also seem to know every student by name. I am happy with my decision to attend MVA and have not looked back.
