Overview

This is the next step in your makeup, hair and beauty career. Qualify for our program and work on live Hollywood sets with MVA Studios. Use your skills to work on editorials, movies, tv shows, campaigns, runways, celebrities and more.

At MVA you're not just perfecting a talent, you're starting your career! Affiliate students have worked on film productions, top music videos, have had their work published in editorial magazines and more.

Work side by side with the industry's best celebrity makeup artists, film directors, producers, publicist, photographers, and videographers on fashion shows, on-set productions, magazine editorials and more! Our Affiliate Program prepares students for the fast paced set environment so they know proper set etiquette and professionalism, how to assist the key artist, building and maintaining a career, and working efficiently in high pressure situations.

5 Week Course → One class a week
18 hours total
After the 5 week training and passing the final exams students are then able to go on-set. MVA provides 5 opportunities to work on-set and get real industry exposure.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS TO JOIN?

Step 1 – Master Beauty Artistry, Hair Artistry, Special Effects and Airbrush students must finish and get certified in their course online.

Step 2  – Master Beauty Artistry, Hair Artistry, Special Effects and Airbrush students must complete the Elite component in-person for their respective course. 

Once step 1 and step 2 are complete students will have met the qualification requirements and can apply to Affiliate. Within the industry artists who are certified in more than one discipline, such as makeup and hair, are more desirable on set as they are multi-talented. MVA students who have graduated from makeup and hair will have a higher chance of being accepted into the Affiliate program. 

Students taking Barbering and Advanced Makeup in-person can apply to Affiliate once they graduate.
