CEO, Celebrity Makeup Artist & Hairstylist
Tal B Vincent is an American recording artist, tv show host (MTV & E), producer, celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist. She formerly was a part of pop sensation 1-5. She has toured with various celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and more. Tal B was originally born in Tel Aviv, Israel and moved to the United States in the early 2000’s.
At a young age Tal B was exposed to life on tour, she was constantly surrounded by artists, celebrities, performers and everything the Hollywood lifestyle had to offer. At an early age Tal B took an interest in styling and makeup, and used her skills to work on set with various artists. Tal B wanted to expand her passions even further by opening up a Beauty Academy with her husband Michael Vincent. Together Michael and Tal B Vincent created the Michael Vincent Beauty Academy, offering a unique and limitless education for their students.

Michael Vincent is an American photographer, filmmaker, and director. He has had over 10,000 Magazine covers featured throughout various magazines such as Maxim, Esquire, GQ, and more. Michael Vincent started his career as a three time world champion professional BMX racer sponsored by Vans, and later moved to Hollywood to create a name for himself as a professional celebrity photographer through Michael Vincent Photography.
For 15+ years Michael Vincent and Tal B Vincent have been in the world of photography, production, PR and marketing. With Mr. Vincent’s extensive knowledge of the photography and film industry, and Tal B Vincent’s qualifications as a performer, as well as her impressive list of connections; the two were able to produce various music videos, TV shows, movies, and fashion shows. Their blossoming success enabled them to become known as one of the industries top production facilities. Their drive, dedication, and desire to educate and inspire others to succeed in the world of beauty compelled them to establish Michael Vincent Academy MVA is known for its extensive beauty education programs, and was noted for having one of the best affiliate programs in the country.

Thomas Gusway is the Chairman of the Board of Directors that oversee all aspects of the MVA Group. Tom has extensive experience in the school industry having owned and operated a very successful makeup/fashion school and also a computer coding school. His knowledge also includes the current management of talent in the film and television industry, and years of management of talent in overseas markets as well as the home market. He is also very experienced in the field of fashion photography and published two magazines. His focus now is to utilize his over forty years of knowledge to create the best environment for students wanting to be a part of the exciting world of makeup artistry. Tom loves to spend his free time reading books and continuing his photography in fashion. He is an avid motorcyclist, enjoys fast cars and aviation, and still flies whenever possible as a private pilot.

MVA House Photographer
Jimmy Romano is a professional beauty fashion photographer for Michael Vincent Academy. In college he thrived as an animator and illustrator which then transferred over time, becoming a Master Digital Retoucher. He now holds lectures and online courses for his students at MVA. Jimmy has also worked on dozens of music video as Light Director and Behind the Scenes Photographer.
Director of Operation
Rene is a multifaceted beauty professional with nearly a decade of experience in makeup artistry, photography, and beauty industry operations. Starting in 2015 with Benefit Cosmetics, Rene has built a diverse portfolio spanning weddings, runway shows, editorial work, and celebrity clients. In addition to makeup, he offers photography services that capture beauty with a creative and detail-oriented eye. His expertise also includes product development, manufacturing, and business operations, allowing him to contribute both on set and behind the scenes.

MVA Pro Instructor
Ana Miro is a Puerto Rican makeup artist, visual artist, dancer, educator and entrepreneur, living in LA for the last 8 years. Performing from a young age made her get into the world of makeup early on. In college she became the Key Makeup artist in the whole Theater Department which got her doing makeup on over 30 plays, student and professional productions, and professional photoshoots. Ana went back to school for Beauty and Special Effects makeup and has been creating a career in makeup for film, photography and tv for the past 5 years.
Trainer & Entrepreneur, MVA Beauty & Business Artistry Online Instructor
Allison Bowen began her makeup career working/freelancing for brands such as Prescriptives (Custom Blend Color Theory Trainer) Clinique, Bobby Brown, Stila, YSL, Becca and Beautyblender. After 20+ years of shadowing celebrity makeup artist, working on set, on location and for artistry brands as an educator, Allison introduces and shares her beauty industry expertise in this new series of mentorship sessions.

SFX Instructor
Jeff Swan, a Los Angeles-based makeup artist has excelled at the artistry of doing makeup for motion pictures, television, commercials, and print for over 23 years. His credits include film and tv productions like: Hellraiser III, George Luca’s Radioland Murders, The Tyra Banks Show, William Shatner’s Captain Kirk from Star Trek, NFL Films, the Backstreet Boys and many more.
Jeff studied at The Joe Blasco School of Makeup, personally trained by the legendary makeup artist Maurice Stein founder of Cinema Secrets. A master of special effects Jeff has done professional character makeup, monster makeup for major companies like Universal Studios, worked with retail giants like Bobbi Brown cosmetics, and has worked with the United State Military and Fire Departments creating “injury-simulated” makeup for their mock- catastrophe drills.
Now working as an independent makeup artist, he thrives on the thrill of contributing his makeup artistry talents to High Definition films and television projects.

Pinky has been a celebrity stylist for 20 years Experienced in many aspects of the beauty industry. Pinky has had success with Education seminars, Platform Artist and on set performance. She has been a set stylist and extension specialist for over 11 years.
Pinky has been stylist to the stars from everything to Movies, Fashion, Live TV and Music Videos. She prides herself in her students, helping them grow as professionals in the industry. Always giving back trying to change people’s lives one hair strand at a time.
Airbrush Educator & MVA Airbrush Artistry Online Instructor
Tanya Deemer is a Global Celebrity Makeup Artist & Hairstylist who’s career spans over two decades. Her work is seen on the Runways of New York Fashion Week, Hollywood’s Big Screen & Red Carpet, International Advertising Campaigns for major global corporations, Magazine Editorials and much more. She has also served as a Beauty Industry Expert on ExtraTV & The Doctors in Hollywood to educate the viewers on industry tips & tricks. Getting her start in the Wedding industry in the late 90’s, Deemer has also devoted her time to hundreds of Brides through the years on their big day.
Microblading Instructor
Tara Nasserzare is a former makeup artist who developed a passion for Microblading while in Dubai and decided to shift the course of her career and become a certified microblading artist. Tara moved to Los Angeles to pursue her microblading education and career and studied at top schools like PHI, earning multiple certifications. Tara quickly opened her own practice, Glambrows working with private clients. Tara did not just stop though at her own brand, a disciplined, talented, and successful microblading artist Tara now is a microblading instructor as well as an entrepreneur continuing to run Glambrows while teaching.

Jenna Edmunds is a Licensed Cosmetologist for 20+ years. She has spent the last 15+ in education. Her professional and set experience has seen her work in TV, national photography campaigns, and New York Fashion Week. Her work has been featured by Modern Salon and more. She is passionate about making education fun and helping her students achieve their goals.

Yasmine Haezaert has been doing makeup for 10 years and her passion is education. Yasmine is well rounded in the industry with experience as a freelance artist, brand trainer and international educator. She loves full glam, avant garde looks, social media trends and modern creative artistry. Yasmine has taught for NYX Cosmetics, Morphe, national trade shows, as well as Cosmetology and Makeup Schools throughout Los Angeles, Texas, New York, Chicago and Asia.

Barbara Danielle is a captivating Glam and SFX Makeup Artist known for her transformative artistry. With a rich background in teaching and career coordination, Barbara spent over two years at Academia Arte Pierrot in Chile, where she orchestrated the academy’s evolution into a nationally acclaimed institution. Relocating to Los Angeles, California, Barbara founded Barbara Danielle Studio in 2019 after clinching victory in a national makeup competition. Since then, her studio has flourished, welcoming over 700 students both in-person and online. Barbara’s influence extends beyond the studio, having served as a Brand Ambassador and Judge for prestigious competitions such as NYX Professional Makeup “Doll Search” Chile. Her talent has garnered numerous awards, including 1st Place at NYX PMU Chile 2019 and 6th Place in the Professional Category at the World Bodypainting Competition Austria 2022. Committed to giving back, Barbara volunteers her expertise in network management, strategic sales, and graphic design, notably at Nocturnal Designz SFX Studio in Los Angeles, where she showcased her work as an exhibitor at Monsterpalooza 2022-2023.

A seasoned instructor and entrepreneur in the Cosmetology Industry, embarked on her career journey in 2005. Over the years, she honed her skills and expertise, culminating in obtaining instructor credentials from UCLA and subsequently earning the Director Certification within seven years. Jovonna’s dedication to teaching has profoundly influenced numerous cosmetologists and makeup artists, guiding them towards successful careers in the industry.
In addition to her instructional role, Jovonna’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish Real Silk Hair Care Systems in 2010, showcasing her passion for chemistry and product development. Her hands-on involvement in creating an exclusive hair care line, from formulation to branding, exemplifies her commitment to excellence. This venture expanded to include the creation of the Real Silk Beauty Academy, a testament to Jovonna’s multifaceted talents and vision.
Alongside her, Olivia Mitchell, her daughter, embodies a similar passion for beauty and makeup artistry. From a young age, Olivia immersed herself in the industry, acquiring skills and experience through various educational avenues and hands-on projects. Together, Jovonna and Olivia co-own and operate the Real Silk Beauty Academy, where they aim to empower aspiring beauty professionals and foster a community of creativity and innovation.
The Real Silk team’s illustrious portfolio includes collaborations with celebrities, television productions, music videos, and a diverse array of events, showcasing their expertise and versatility. Beyond their professional endeavors, Jovonna and her team actively engage in philanthropic initiatives, such as providing beauty services for marginalized communities and supporting causes like autism awareness.
Driven by a shared commitment to empowering individuals and making a positive impact, Jovonna leads the C.H.E.E.R. Organization, dedicated to promoting self-empowerment and self-esteem among young adolescent female youth through cosmetology education and training in underserved communities.
