Fundamentals:
Master Beauty Artistry
Learn your fundamentals. You’ll learn the A-Zs of makeup artistry from tools, to skin types, to undertones, color theory, classic glam looks, bridal and much more. After you’ve completed either Online Master Beauty Artistry (OMBA) or Master Beauty Artistry (MBA), which is in-person, you’ll be ready for Portfolio Building In-Person, where you’ll develop your portfolio through the Elite Master Beauty Artistry (EMBA).

There is no difference in curriculum between the two. Online Master Beauty Artistry is an online course which is designed so you can learn at your own pace. Watch video demos, read your ebook, take quizzes, complete HW, all through your portal with direct support, review, and feedback from our pro instructors. Online is a great option for non-local students or students who need more time to complete their education. Master Beauty Artistry is in-person at our Academy in Hollywood. Class is once a week for 6 weeks and it is an excellent option for those who prefer learning their fundamentals in-person.

Portfolio Building In-Person:
Elite Master Beauty Artistry
It’s time to build your portfolio and get hands-on in the studio. Elite Master Beauty Artistry can only be taken after you complete either Online Master Beauty Artistry or in-person Master Beauty Artistry. Elite is in-person at MVA. Class is once a week for 8 weeks. Each week focuses on a specific makeup look. Students do the look on a model, the model is professionally styled, and then professionally photographed in our studio. This unique customized course selections, only at MVA, builds student’s portfolios and provides invaluable hands-on experience.
EMBA builds off of what you learn in Fundamentals and teaches you new and advanced techniques that you did not cover in Fundamentals via hands-on learning. Each week you’ll create a makeup look using your Fundamentals theory and take it to the next level using new techniques taught only in EMBA. After completing the look it will be taken to the studio to be professionally styled and photographed. Here are the looks you will complete:
