Since completing her certification in Makeup and Hair through our program and receiving training from our award-winning affiliate, Emily has skyrocketed to success, earning features in both Forbes and Harper’s Bazaar, as well as working on music videos and a movie and even landing a makeup / hair job at Disney!!!!—all in just six short months. And she’s only 20 years old!

From the moment she stepped into our program, it was clear that Emily possessed a unique flair and an unwavering commitment to her craft. With the undivided support from her loving family and Team MVA, Emily has worked tirelessly to achieve her goals as a freelance makeup and hair artist.

Reflecting on her journey, Emily shares, “MVA was instrumental in giving me the confidence I needed to succeed. They not only provided me with top-notch education but also opened doors to incredible opportunities, including working on the movie Nikki Parisi: Almost Popular. The support from the MVA team, especially from my teacher Ana Miro, was invaluable. Ana connected me with numerous clients and helped me build connections and a clientele, as well as develop a professional portfolio that truly showcases my work. The Affiliate Program was a game-changer, paving my way into the industry with opportunities to work on fashion shows, music videos like Players by Coi Leray, and various movies. Brands like Skin and Cupshe also became part of my journey, highlighting the vast potential and opportunities available through MVA.”
Emily also shares her aspirations for the future: “My biggest goal is to become a studio owner to be able to do makeup and hair and shoots, opening up the door to many creatives and setting the pace for a leading editorial makeup and hair artist. I want to create a space where artistry and innovation can thrive, contributing to the ever-evolving landscape of beauty.”
