Fundamentals:
Airbrush Artistry
Learn your fundamentals. You will learn the A-Zs of introductory Airbrush Artistry from the differences and advantages of airbrush over traditional makeup applications, how to use an airbrush machine, airbrush for bridal, airbrush for tattoo coverage and much more. After you’ve completed either Online Airbrush Artistry (OAA) or complete a In-Person Airbrush Artistry (AAH), building your Portfolio with Elite Airbrush Artistry (EAA).

There is no difference in curriculum between the two. Online Airbrush Artistry is an online course which is designed so you can learn at your own pace. Watch video demos, read your ebook, take quizzes, complete HW, all through your portal with direct support, review, and feedback from our pro instructors. Online is a great option for non-local students or students who need more time to complete their education. Hyper Airbrush Artistry is a in-person at our Academy in Hollywood. Hypers are private one-on-one courses with the student and our pro instructor. 3 day course in person. Hypers are an excellent option for students who prefer to learn their fundamentals in-person in a hands-on and one-on-one environment with our pro MVA instructors.

Portfolio Building Galore:
Elite Airbrush Artistry
It’s time to build your portfolio and get hands-on in the studio. Elite Airbrush Artistry can only be taken after you complete either Online Airbrush Artistry or in-person Hyper Airbrush Artistry. Elite Airbrush Artistry builds on the fundamentals you learned and takes everything to the next level. Elite is in-person at MVA. Class is once a week for 4 weeks. Each week focuses on a specific special effects look/technique.
Students apply the look on a professional model, who is then styled and professionally photographed in our studio. This one-of-a-kind customized course selections—only at MVA—gives students invaluable hands-on experience and builds a strong portfolio. MVA provides everything needed for the shoot, including a professional model, stylist, photographer, and access to our state-of-the-art soundstage studios.
Elite Airbrush Artistry (EAA) teaches you new and advanced techniques that you did not cover in Fundamentals via hands-on learning. Each week you’ll create an airbrush makeup look using your Fundamentals theory and take it to the next level using new techniques taught only in Elite Airbrush Artistry (EAA). After completing the look it will be taken to the studio to be professionally styled and photographed. Here are the topics/looks you will complete:
- Airbrush Basics & Bridal Airbrush Makeup
- Color Correction & Coverage
- Liner and Stencil work for Avant-Garde Airbrush
- Finals: Create your own original airbrush look of your choice
