The recent fires ravaging parts of Los Angeles have left an indelible mark on our community. In these trying times, our hearts go out to those who have been directly impacted by the fires, whether through loss, displacement, or the emotional toll that such a crisis brings. As we witness the strength of our city, we also find ourselves reflecting on the shared experiences that make us resilient. One such example is the Pasadena Convention Center, where we proudly showcased the talent and creativity of our students at the IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show) last year. It is with a heavy heart that we learn that the very same venue is now serving as an evacuation center for those in need.
While this shift brings a somber reality, it also highlights the importance of community — something we hold dear at Michael Vincent Academy. In moments like these, we must lean on one another, supporting our neighbors and offering assistance in whatever way we can. We want to remind everyone that we are stronger when we come together, and that even in the darkest moments, there is light in our collective spirit.
At MVA, we understand the weight of what our city is going through. We recognize the emotional strain that can come with such uncertainty, but we also believe in the power of creativity to heal.
