Tal B Vincent is an American recording artist, tv show host (MTV & E), producer, celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist. She formerly was a part of pop sensation 1-5. She has toured with various celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and more. Tal B was originally born in Tel Aviv, Israel and moved to the United States in the early 2000’s.

At a young age Tal B was exposed to life on tour, she was constantly surrounded by artists, celebrities, performers and everything the Hollywood lifestyle had to offer. At an early age Tal B took an interest in styling and makeup, and used her skills to work on set with various artists. Tal B wanted to expand her passions even further by opening up a Beauty Academy with her husband Michael Vincent. Together Michael and Tal B Vincent created the Michael Vincent Beauty Academy, offering a unique and limitless education for their students.

Michael Vincent is an American photographer, filmmaker, and director. He has had over 10,000 Magazine covers featured throughout various magazines such as Maxim, Esquire, GQ, and more. Michael Vincent started his career as a three time world champion professional BMX racer sponsored by Vans, and later moved to Hollywood to create a name for himself as a professional celebrity photographer through Michael Vincent Photography.

For 15+ years Michael Vincent and Tal B Vincent have been in the world of photography, production, PR and marketing. With Mr. Vincent’s extensive knowledge of the photography and film industry, and Tal B Vincent’s qualifications as a performer, as well as her impressive list of connections; the two were able to produce various music videos, TV shows, movies, and fashion shows. Their blossoming success enabled them to become known as one of the industries top production facilities. Their drive, dedication, and desire to educate and inspire others to succeed in the world of beauty compelled them to establish Michael Vincent Academy MVA is known for its extensive beauty education programs, and was noted for having one of the best affiliate programs in the country.

Thomas Gusway is the Chairman of the Board of Directors that oversee all aspects of the MVA Group. Tom has extensive experience in the school industry having owned and operated a very successful makeup/fashion school and also a computer coding school. His knowledge also includes the current management of talent in the film and television industry, and years of management of talent in overseas markets as well as the home market. He is also very experienced in the field of fashion photography and published two magazines. His focus now is to utilize his over forty years of knowledge to create the best environment for students wanting to be a part of the exciting world of makeup artistry. Tom loves to spend his free time reading books and continuing his photography in fashion. He is an avid motorcyclist, enjoys fast cars and aviation, and still flies whenever possible as a private pilot.

Claudia “Nina” Garcia is a dynamic leader in the beauty industry with a career extending over a decade. Known for her accomplishments in driving sales, marketing strategies, and team leadership, Nina’s strategic initiatives and commitment to excellence have consistently aligned with the goals of her employers.

Some of her experiences included working at ULTA Beauty, leading to a standout performance in the second quarter of 2021.

Nina’s time at iBeauty Brands as a Regional Manager saw her fine-tuning performance across a network of stores, enhancing bilingual sales training, and overseeing daily operations. Her role as a Director for POISE makeup professional was equally influential, where she contributed to makeup campaigns, expanded the business by opening international accounts, and shared her expertise through a master class in Mexico while training and developing the global team.

Throughout her career, one of her impactful contributions was at MAC Cosmetics. Nina had consistently exceeded sales goals, leading to fast growth within the company. At MAC Cosmetics, she was involved in event coordination, hiring, and team training, often assisting managers with their deadlines.

One of Nina’s significant accomplishments was In 2017, Nina Garcia made a notable contribution to the beauty education field by launching a unique makeup class taught exclusively in Spanish. She was instrumental in creating the curriculum, tailoring it to meet the specific needs of Spanish-speaking students. This initiative showcased not only her expertise in makeup artistry but also her commitment to making beauty education accessible to diverse communities. Additionally, Nina maintained a strong freelance makeup artistry career, serving a private clientele with her impressive makeup skills.

Tori Hawks-Ladds is a graduate of Emerson College’s Visual Media Arts program, where they honed a love of film, television, and makeup artistry for film and TV. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2017, Tori has worked on numerous productions and developed a passion for working with talented, creative people across multiple industries. Tori is excited to bring their background in media as well as their love of makeup artistry to team MVA.

Jimmy Romano is a professional beauty fashion photographer for Michael Vincent Academy. In college he thrived as an animator and illustrator which then transferred over time, becoming a Master Digital Retoucher. He now holds lectures and online courses for his students at MVA. Jimmy has also worked on dozens of music video as Light Director and Behind the Scenes Photographer.

Ana Miro is a Puerto Rican makeup artist, visual artist, dancer, educator and entrepreneur, living in LA for the last 8 years. Performing from a young age made her get into the world of makeup early on. In college she became the Key Makeup artist in the whole Theater Department which got her doing makeup on over 30 plays, student and professional productions, and professional photoshoots. Ana went back to school for Beauty and Special Effects makeup and has been creating a career in makeup for film, photography and tv for the past 5 years.

Jeff Swan, a Los Angeles-based makeup artist has excelled at the artistry of doing makeup for motion pictures, television, commercials, and print for over 23 years. His credits include film and tv productions like: Hellraiser III, George Luca’s Radioland Murders, The Tyra Banks Show, William Shatner’s Captain Kirk from Star Trek, NFL Films, the Backstreet Boys and many more.

Jeff studied at The Joe Blasco School of Makeup, personally trained by the legendary makeup artist Maurice Stein founder of Cinema Secrets. A master of special effects Jeff has done professional character makeup, monster makeup for major companies like Universal Studios, worked with retail giants like Bobbi Brown cosmetics, and has worked with the United State Military and Fire Departments creating “injury-simulated” makeup for their mock- catastrophe drills.

Now working as an independent makeup artist, he thrives on the thrill of contributing his makeup artistry talents to High Definition films and television projects.

Tanya Deemer is a Global Celebrity Makeup Artist & Hairstylist who’s career spans over two decades. Her work is seen on the Runways of New York Fashion Week, Hollywood’s Big Screen & Red Carpet, International Advertising Campaigns for major global corporations, Magazine Editorials and much more. She has also served as a Beauty Industry Expert on ExtraTV & The Doctors in Hollywood to educate the viewers on industry tips & tricks. Getting her start in the Wedding industry in the late 90’s, Deemer has also devoted her time to hundreds of Brides through the years on their big day.

Tara Nasserzare is a former makeup artist who developed a passion for Microblading while in Dubai and decided to shift the course of her career and become a certified microblading artist. Tara moved to Los Angeles to pursue her microblading education and career and studied at top schools like PHI, earning multiple certifications. Tara quickly opened her own practice, Glambrows working with private clients. Tara did not just stop though at her own brand, a disciplined, talented, and successful microblading artist Tara now is a microblading instructor as well as an entrepreneur continuing to run Glambrows while teaching.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Valeria has been involved in the performing, visual, and makeup arts since a very young age. She first started studying theatrical and character makeup in 1998. her passion for makeup continued to grow, and so did her training in beauty, fashion, and editorial makeup. Soon enough, she became an assistant makeup artist for top celebrity makeup artists in Puerto Rico and worked with the top local photographers and magazines.

From 16 yrs old until 2016, her main career was as a professional dancer signed by top agency Bloc Talent in Los Angeles. She has worked with a list of artists, such as Shakira, Sarah Bareilles, and Will I Am, to name a few. Valeria also had the honor to perform on prestigious stages, such as the Hollywood Bowl and multiple hit series on Netflix and HBO. As an actor, Valeria has appeared on multiple TV series like “Jane the Virgin” and countless commercial ad campaigns. In 2003, she graduated from cosmetology school in the state of Florida. By then, she had expanded her craft doing bridal makeup and landed contracts with top companies such as Covergirl, Framesi, and Wella, to name a few.

In 2006, she arrived in Los Angeles, where she added to her professional experience as a makeup artist and hair stylist by landing contracts in the film & tv industry with well-renowned studios and production companies to which she currently works till this day as a key artist.

Martin Gonzalez’s barbering journey began at an early age in 1989 when he discovered his passion for barbering by working on friends and family. In 1993 with help from his sister, Martin registered his business Gettin’ Faded channeling the iconic fade hairstyle in his brand name. Martin never stopped learning and improving his craft, consistently educating himself on the latest techniques and building his license while he worked tirelessly, never giving up on his dream, at shops in the industry. In 2014 Martin opened his own barbershop, built from the ground up in Inglewood CA, GETTIN’ FADED BARBERSHOP. Martin continues to be a successful entrepreneur and inspiring educator to new talent in the barbering world.

Her professional and set experience has seen her work in TV, national photography campaigns, and New York Fashion Week. Her work has been featured by Modern Salon and more. Yasmine Haezaert has been doing makeup for 10 years and her passion is education. Yasmine is well rounded in the industry with experience as a freelance artist, brand trainer and international educator. She loves full glam, avant garde looks, social media trends and modern creative artistry. Yasmine has taught for NYX Cosmetics, Morphe, national trade shows, as well as Cosmetology and Makeup Schools throughout Los Angeles, Texas, New York, Chicago and Asia.

My name is Estephania Posada but I prefer to go by Annie. I have been a makeup artist for 10+ years and have been teaching Special Fx makeup for 8+ years. In 2015 I became a makeup artist for Knott’s Scary Farm. Working for a Halloween event has allowed me to learn to work under pressure with limited time where I also have the opportunity to expand my artistry. I have been creating monsters for Knott’s Scary Farm for 9+ years now. I also have beauty experience which I was able to freelance for an Artist agency in which I was able to do makeup for the AMAs 2019 on Ciaras Dancers, YSL Men fashion show in Santa Monica 2019, and my most recent was doing airbrush makeup for the Flash Movie Premier 2023.
