Our course assignments are designed to have you get real hands on practice. As such, many of our assignments require you to complete “looks” such as a full face of makeup or a complete hairstyle, take photos of your work, and submit these images for feedback/review. It is suggested that you complete one assignment each week, when applicable in a course, giving time to practice and complete each assignment. A mobile phone or digital camera is needed to capture before and after images of your work.

All MVA courses include samples and submission instructions for your work. MVA will guide you through every step of a course. Each course comes with a kit, providing you with the the tools and products to successfully complete assignments.

Each course has a final assessment. Once you have completed the required course lessons as marked in your student portal, you can take your final assessment. Most course final assessments have two components, a “multiple choice” exam and a practical “hands-on” exam. MVA instructors review the practical portion of your exam within one week. Upon passing your final assessment, and the course fees are paid, MVA will issue you a Certificate of Completion.
